i've been waiting for a good day
i've been holding back long enough
i've been hurting to tell you some things
it's not the falling of the temperature
that's making all our bones run cold
it's the breeze you make
the presence felt when you're around me

ik denk dat ik gevallen voor u ben. wat zou ik moeten doen? is dit liefde?

Cherry, when it comes to temptation you're a Hedonist

It has become apparent that the word "no" is not one you use too often. In fact, it seems you just might have replaced it with "sure," "pour it on," and "I'll take it." As a Hedonist, you probably see no reason to put limits on pleasure. When the little angel of your conscience arrives on your shoulder to challenge your indulgent side, it's usually knocked off by that little devil who's never too far away from your decisions.

(hey, and we were just talking about hedonism in english class too! maybe the way i answered the questions was a bit biased by the fact that i love dorian gray so very much. i wish i could be dorian gray. i get the feeling i would have handled immortality much better. i would have kept basil around.)

Cherry, you're a Type 8 - The Leader

Friends, family, and colleagues probably appreciate your heroic strength and impassioned inner drive. They're also apt to know that when they come to you with a problem, you can be counted on for strength and guidance. As a Leader, you're likely to be seen as a powerful and protective individual with a natural born sense of management in one form or another.

Toni Morrison, an award-winning author and recognized cultural leader in the African American community, and Martin Luther King, Jr., leader of the American civil rights movement, were also type 8s.

This means that compared to the eight other Enneagram types, you have a strong sense of willpower and self-confidence. In fact, you're the kind of resourceful, decisive person who is often committed to making things happen

Cherry, your values help make you a Resourceful Independent

You know that in this world you need to look out for number one. As a result, you're more prepared than most people are to do whatever is necessary to take care of yourself. In fact, you likely expend significant effort to see that your needs and best interests are met, so long as the actions are within your ethical boundaries. People like you typically feel strongly about following through on their promises, as well as knowing how to take either credit or blame when it is due. Overall, you're self-reliant and willing to take responsibility for your own welfare.

instead of writing the dbq that's due tomorrow, i was taking those quizzes. they're frighteningly addictive. i never discover anything new about myself, but i always hope that i do. it's like watching the commercial for comcast digital cable where a scene is paused and a car is stuck in midair. the characters in the car are talking about how they never complete the jump no matter how many times the scene is played. that was a silly analogy, but i like that commercial.

speaking of commercials, have you ever seen that dell commercial where the intern turns out the lights and all the night support tech crew is still there? as i was watching it today, i noticed what great diction was used in the commercial. i don't remember exactly what was said, but just that it was said very well. there was something about award-winning service, being there for customers when they have a question, and not being afraid of the dark. except for schneider - he's afraid of the dark. he needs to pull it together.

"i'm a fountain of blood in the shape of a girl." --bachelorette, by bjork

everybody should download that song. bjork's voice is so distinctive. there's something about it that makes it sound so plaintive (i almost wrote plaintiff. that makes me sad). it could almost be grating, except she draws out her words in such a way that it takes the harshness away. once you hear bjork, you'll know that voice whenever she sings. it's like the lead singer in the smashing pumpkins, except that his voice is more annoying. the best that he ever did was in the beginning of the song "bullet with butterfly wings" where he says, "the world is a vampire." it sounds sinister and cynical at the same time. it is the sound of evil sneering at me. i love it.

swirlies for brian, b/c i know that brian likes swirlies. contrary to popular opinion, brian does NOT like toaster strudels. he feels that they are as evil as mr. jones. if a person resembling brian says this is not true, pay no mind to him. it is just a little asian ninja impersonating our dear friend. you should kick him, but be careful. he probably has a ninja star poised to slice and dice.
